The month of March is dedicated to Saint Joseph
March marks the transition into spring, a time of renewal and growth. It is a month where we honor St. Joseph, the patron saint of workers and protector of families. March also falls during the liturgical season of Lent, a period of reflection and spiritual preparation leading up to Easter. St. Joseph's humility and devotion serve as an inspiration for us to deepen our faith and embrace the journey towards renewal and transformation during this sacred time.
"St. Joseph was just a man, a tireless worker, the upright guardian of those entrusted to his care. May he always guard, protect, and enlighten families" - Pope Francis

Healthcare workers deliver care and services to the sick and ailing either directly as doctors and nurses or indirectly as aides, helpers, laboratory technicians, and medical waste handlers. The nature of their job puts them at risk of catching communicable diseases including COVID-19.
We have created an alphabetical list of saints and their health care patronage.
