Vintage Large Coffin Crucifix - Vintage Funeral Memento - Metal Casket Crucifix Wall Hanging

Large, vintage coffin crucifix. I found this large, heavy piece at a local estate sale recently. Coffin crosses were attached to the casket during funeral services then removed after the service to be kept as mementos by the loved ones of the deceased. There are two holes for mounting on the top and bottom. The top hole has an old ribbon tied through it. There are no markings on this piece. It has a dark bronze and copper coloring to it. There are areas of rust on the surface (please see all photos). This piece shows definite signs of age. It is large and heavy, please note the measurements below!
