Vintage Pope John Paul II Vatican Medal Keychain

Vintage religious keychain pendant that I found at an estate sale. It shows definite signs of wear, probably from being handled and rubbed throughout the years (please note all photos). The front depicts Pope Joannes Paulus II (Latin for Pope John Paul II) and the back depicts the Vatican and is marked "ROMA Italy".

Pope John Paul II (Latin: Joannes Paulus II) May 18, 1920 - April 2, 2005, was Pope from October 16th, 1978 to his death in 2005. He was the second longest-serving pope in history and the first non-Italian since Pope Adrian VI, who died in 1523. ~ Wikipedia
