The Christmas wreath is a beautiful decoration full of religious symbolism from various cultures. It denotes the spiritual belief in life everlasting and the rebirth of the spirit. To Christians, it is a way of professing the miracle birth of the Christ child. It’s also said that when Jesus wore a crown of holly branches, the white berries turned red so the wreath became a symbolic emblem of Jesus, and it would be decorated using four candles. Three candles would be placed on the outside of the wreath and one in the middle. On Christmas Eve, the middle candle would be lit to represent the arrival of the Light of the World – Jesus Christ. The circular shape of the wreath, without a beginning or end point, also symbolized eternal life. The colors red, green, white or purple were often used in wreaths to represent the blood, life, joy, sacrifice or forgiveness in Jesus.
Traditional wreaths are in the form of a circle. This circle has numerous meanings, both to Christians and non-Christians alike:
- The eternal presence of God, with no beginning and no end
- The cycle of the seasons, from spring to winter and eventually to spring again
- The hope of life renewing itself
- The hope of eternal life through Christ, the Savior
- The unending love of God

Canada: We offer two flat rate options for shipping. You can choose which works best for you during the checkout process. Your package will ship via USPS (United States Postal Service) until it arrives in Canada. It will then be delivered by Canada Post.
